and safer trading.

This is a plain-language interim policy for the moderated Cerf Collectables listing service. It should be reviewed by an Australian lawyer before the platform introduces fees, payments or automated seller accounts.

Our role

Cerf Collectables publishes moderated sports-card listings and introduces interested collectors to sellers. Unless a listing says “Sold by Cerf Collectables”, Cerf is not the seller, does not process payment, hold the card, arrange delivery or guarantee either party.

Seller responsibilities

Sellers must be at least 18, own the item, use authorised images and accurately describe authenticity, grading, alterations, damage, numbering and price. Counterfeit, stolen, misleading or unlawful listings are prohibited. Cerf may reject, edit, hide or remove any listing.

Buyer responsibilities

Buyers must conduct their own checks, agree payment and delivery directly with the seller, preserve transaction records and avoid payment methods that provide no appropriate protection. Never send money solely because a listing appears on this website.

Enquiries and privacy

Seller contact details are kept private. Buyer details and messages are collected to manage the specific enquiry and may be shared with the relevant seller for that purpose. They are not consent to unrelated marketing. Users may ask us to correct or remove their information, subject to legitimate record-keeping needs.

Reporting and complaints

Use “Report this listing” on the card page for suspected counterfeits, stolen goods, misleading information, harassment or safety concerns. Cerf may suspend a listing while reviewing a report and may preserve relevant records.
