Planned card receipt, listing comparison and protective handling.
HOW TRANSACTIONS WORK
One live path.
One future service.
Direct Deal is available now. Safeguarded Trade is shown as a planned CardQuay-controlled card handover, but cannot currently be selected or paid for.
CARD PAYMENT
Always paid directly to the seller.CardQuay does not operate a wallet, hold the card price or split seller payments.Deal directly,
on your own terms.
The platform records each confirmation and keeps uploaded evidence private, but the buyer accepts the seller’s performance risk. CardQuay does not guarantee payment, dispatch, delivery or the card.
- 01
Request the card
Choose Direct Deal. The listing moves to Sold Pending while the seller checks that the card is still available.
- 02
Seller reconfirms
The seller confirms availability, the receiving method and the postage option before any payment details are released.
- 03
Pay the seller
Confirm your delivery address, pay the seller directly, mark payment sent and upload private payment evidence.
- 04
Seller checks cleared funds
The seller checks their own account—not the screenshot alone—and confirms that the payment has arrived.
- 05
Tracked dispatch
The buyer’s address is then released to the seller. The seller dispatches the card and records tracking and postage evidence.
- 06
Receive and review
The buyer confirms delivery. Once complete, both members can leave feedback about the recorded transaction.
A future option
for card handling.
This is the planned process only. When operationally ready, the card would come to CardQuay before the buyer pays the seller. The service cannot be started during the current beta.
- 01
Planned service reservation
When launched, the buyer will choose CardQuay Safeguarded Trade and pay a clearly disclosed fixed service price to CardQuay.
- 02
Seller sends to CardQuay
After the service payment is confirmed, the seller receives the private CardQuay delivery address and sends the listed card with tracking.
- 03
CardQuay checks the card
Our team compares the card’s identifying details, visible condition and listing description. This is not authentication and does not guarantee authenticity.
- 04
Buyer decides and pays
CardQuay shares the check outcome. If proceeding, the buyer selects any optional Extra Cover and pays the card price directly to the seller.
- 05
Seller confirms payment
The seller verifies cleared funds in their own account and confirms receipt inside CardQuay.
- 06
CardQuay forwards the card
CardQuay packages and dispatches the card to the buyer. Included postage depends on the service-price tier; optional insurance is paid separately.
- 07
Receive and review
The buyer confirms delivery. Both members can then leave feedback tied to the completed transaction record.
Not currently charged. The proposed tier is based on the agreed card price.
Planned to include AusPost Express from CardQuay to the buyer.
Planned to include AusPost Express and premium protective packaging.
Insurance is not included in the proposed prices. Extra Cover is also unavailable until Safeguarded Trade launches.
